The North America team of Switzerland Tourism ST, in partnership with US magazine “Travel + Leisure”, launched its first fully integrated campaign based on the four pillars of marketing (Promotion, Key Media Management, Digital Marketing, Key Account Management).
US magazine “Travel + Leisure” (“T+L”) is geared towards discerning frequent travellers looking for the ultimate travel experience. With articles on outdoor activities, nature and culture in the print magazine, on the web platform and social media channels, the campaign generated 17 million contacts. The highlight was the 20 members of the T+L Advisory Board travelling to Switzerland for the first time. These members included the owners and CEOs of the biggest US travel agencies. ST’s many years of promotion finally paid off in June 2017.
The journey is the basis for at least one more article in “T+L” planned for 2018, and laid the groundwork for future collaboration.
