The Grand Tour of Switzerland Association (GTSA) further developed the product in 2017, relying on the support of many tourism service suppliers. These suppliers ordered the free promo set, increasing the brand’s visibility and strength. The service suppliers acquired a total of 438 dispensers, 2,176 door stickers and 1,520 boxes each containing 1,000 sachets of sugar. New sales outlets for snack boxes were set up. These boxes can now be purchased and filled at a total of 51 locations in Switzerland. Thanks to the uncomplicated cooperation with public officials and politicians, the association set up a further 15 photo spots last year. And there are plans for more. Marketing campaigns like the Mosimann Rally and targeted improvements of the product, including the electrification of the route, enhanced the image of the number 1 road trip through the Alps.
