Together with the Swiss snow sport initiative GoSnow, the German ski association DSV and the media partner “planet radio”, Switzerland Tourism ST launched the second year of its winter campaign “Winter goes to school”. The multi-year campaign is focused on the target group of young people in Germany.

Various measures in the first half of 2017 reached a total of more than 30 million contacts. School classes from the seventh grade on could apply for a week-long ski camp by submitting a video with a winter theme. A total of 68 creative entries from around 1,800 students were submitted to the jury. The winning class from Bad Vilbel, Hesse, travelled to the Bernese Oberland in March 2018 for a week in Interlaken. The memories of this trip will likely last a lifetime. And Switzerland will gain new regular guests.

The campaign won third place in March 2017 in the category “Destination” at the “Golden Palm”, Germany’s Oscar awards for tourism.
