Throughout the anniversary year, Switzerland Tourism ST was on the road visiting tourist service suppliers in their home regions. Their huge commitment is the reason why Swiss tourist marketing has been so successful for the past 100 years. At the 13 stops along the tour, ST took the opportunity to thank the 1,140 participants, including 38 media representatives, for their commitment and support. The programme finished with a discussion about goals and plans, with everyone looking back over the last 100 years of tourist marketing and sharing funny anecdotes. Local media conducted interviews, including “Regionaljournal Aargau / Solothurn” (German) and “Tribune de Genève” (French).
